Faisal has an in depth understanding of the way in which economics intersects with policymaking. During his time at Ecuity he has specialised in the development of succinct and impactful reports driven by economic and market analysis. His work includes cost-benefit analysis and business case modelling. Ares of expertise include low carbon heat and transport, renewable power generation and power networks.
Having graduated from Loughborough University with a first – class BSc degree in Business Economics and Finance, prior to joining Ecuity, Faisal worked as a Strategic Economist for ABB, a global technology and automation company. His role involved leading on reporting developments on the UK economy and Brexit, analysing key international supply markets and identifying growth.
Outside of work, Faisal is known for his love of cars and he’s always the first to hear about the latest developments in automotive technology. He closely follows the Pakistan national cricket team, and plays for the Olton and West Warwick Cricket club.
