Local Businesses invited to have their say on West Midlands Low Carbon Energy Action Plan

The Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) are in the process of developing the Low Carbon Action Plan for the West Midlands with the view of helping to unlock investment and deliver significant environmental and economic benefits in the area. The plan will outline key opportunities for growth within the region, helping businesses in areas like Solihull, Coventry, Greater Birmingham and Warwickshire take advantage of the transition to a greener economy.

Businesses in the region who are active in the energy and environmental sector are invited to have their say on the Action Plan over the coming weeks by participating in workshops, hosted at Ecuity’s office based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the Action Plan and ensure that it is developed in line with the ambitions of businesses operating within the region.

Workshops will be held between 10:00am -12:00pm on the 8th, 17th and 24th of October at Ecuity Consulting, 3 Mary Ann Street, Birmingham, B3 1BG. Additional sessions will be hosted in Warwick on the 10th, Telford on the 14th, Coventry on the 25th and Solihull on the 30th October.

Attendees are invited to register via our Eventbrite page where they will see the full workshop agenda.

We are confident that input from local businesses will enable GBSLEP to create an action plan that supports the growth of local carbon businesses throughout the West Midlands.

Those unable to attend are invited to share their opinions by scheduling a short telephone interview. Please contact jessica.ralston@ecuity.com for more information.
